Rossignol’s Temptation 84 Carbon is geared for the gal who isn’t trying to overload her Fitbit™. She’s hoping for a reliable, responsive ski that will take care of her on all the trails she prefers. The Temptation 84 is this sort of Goldilocks ski, comfortable operating between the extremes of absolute power and delicate finesse.

[The test results for the Temptation 84 represent several seasons of test scores, including 2017; its only changes for 2017 are cosmetic.]

At Realskiers, our testers are always on the lookout for models with a high performance ceiling. But not everyone wants a ski with visions far more ambitious than its owners. As Cyndi Lauper once trilled, some girls just want to have fun.

The Temptation 84 Carbon isn’t stuck on herself. She’ll do whatever you want to do. Although its sidecut radius is short (12m @ 162cm), it isn’t obsessive about short turns and certainly isn’t picky about technique. If you’re primarily a social skier, out to enjoy a bit of sliding around with family and friends, the Temptation 84 Carbon would fit right into your program.

The MSRP cited above applies to the Temptation 84 if flat (without a system interface); it’s also available with an integrated Rossi Saphir 110 binding ($800, 2650g).

Women’s Test Data Advisory

Please be advised that our 2022 women’s ski reviews do not show any test data, on either our public or members’ sites. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we haven’t been able to collect sufficient test results to justify showing a statistical summary.

While Realskiers members won’t be able to see stats on women’s reviews, they will see a longer, more in-depth narrative than what’s posted on our public site.

We appreciate your continued support through these troublesome times.
