It’s become the norm to make a 130-flex boot with a well-padded liner and forgiving flex that would bend in a stiff breeze. Atomic has too much respect for the race community to slap a phony flex index on a boot bearing the Redster imprimatur, so you can count on the Redster Club Sport to fit like a C-clamp and flex the way it’s supposed to. Normally a boot we’d classify as “Narrow” uses a 98mm last, but the Redster Club Sport refers to its last as a 96, so you expect it to feel tighter than usual.

Suffice it to say, you’ll discover bones in your feet you never knew you had (can you say, “styloid process?”) We don’t say this to discourage you, for the Redster Club Sport uses Memory Fit, so any fit anomaly can be heat-molded away in a matter of minutes, but to reassure those we ultra-thin feet that they may not need to get a 150 flex boot to feel held.

The Redster Club Sport 110 is available with a low cuff (LC) for women who rip. There’s also a Redster Club Sport for juniors and other lightweight hotshots, with a low cuff in 90 and 70 flexes.
