The Belle 84 is not a drama queen. She’s easy to get along with and more than willing to let the skier set the agenda. Her medium-wide waist provides a broad beam to balance on whether the skier sticks to groomed trails or succumbs to the allure of all the loose snow off the beaten path.

Made for the less aggressive gal who isn’t interested in pressing the edge of the envelope, the Belle 84 is exceptionally lightweight thanks to a core composition that’s mostly balsa. This compromises its capabilities at high speed, but high speed isn’t on agenda of the woman who’s eyeing the Belle 84 as improvement over the relics she hasn’t replaced in years. Ideal for the recreational skier who is less interested in technical advancement than she is in increased ease, comfort and control, the Belle 84 is the sort of mellow companion who would rather listen than talk.
