The Code Speedwall L UVO is what was called a Cruiser in the misty past, made for the man who prefers long turns because short ones entail too much unnecessary thrashing about. It’s not that the Code L can’t make short turns, for it’s more adept at cutting a tight corner than most skis with “L” for a middle name. The Code L UVO just wants you to enjoy a stress-free descent, so it removes a number of superfluous energy-sapping short turns from every descent so you don’t exhaust all your natural resources.

Part of the Code L’s success in this mission is due to the UVO device called out in its name. A shock-dampening widget attached neat the tip, it intercepts vibrations both on the longitudinal and lateral axes so the ski stays cool, calm and collected whether on edge or running flat. It’s as smooth as an old Cadillac and as connected to the snow as a 4-wheel drive Audi. If the Code L UVO had its own Mantra, it would be “Serenity Now!”
