Not every guy who heads to the hills does so to see if he can burn the mountain down; some are happy just to get down it in one piece.  “Ok, this isn’t the best ski in the test, but it’s the best ski for the average skier,” wrote Matt from Footloose, “looking for something simple, fun, easy, capable and still performance driven.”

The Experience 84 is built for comfort, not for speed, with a go-along-to-get-along kind of temperament. It has the dimensions to handle modest doses of powder but its bliss is creamy groomage where its broad tip and extended sidecut pull the skier into the turn with a minimum of encouragement. Especially well suited to the lighter weight skier, the Experience 84 is available with a Rossi Axial3 120 binding ($850 MSRP).
