The Raw Instinct Ti Pro isn’t a step down from the Power Instinct Ti Pro, but a step to the side, towards the narrower end of the Frontside spectrum both inhabit. Its construction is identical to that used in the Power Instinct, but its smaller waistline tightens up the turn radius and dials down the forgiveness factor. Where the Power Instinct could pass for an off-trail ski in a pinch, the Raw isn’t about to compromise its carving principles. It expects to be fed a steady diet of groomage and sulks when it’s pushed out of its comfort zone.
Built to cut a tight corner at a gallop, the Raw has enough power to amuse a skilled skier, but it isn’t so high strung it can’t be handled by an ambitious intermediate trying to improve his carving skills.
