The widest tip in the genre is connected to the most active rear suspension in its class via an 80mm waist. This creates a ski that wants to pull into the top of the turn like it was being sucked in by a whirlpool and shoot out the bottom like its Graphene fibers were on fire. The i.Titan’s 80mm waist is the widest of Head’s Supershapes, but it doesn’t feel wide on the snow. It feels slinky, quick edge to edge and never, ever nervous.

We have Scott from Realskiers Test Center Aspen Ski and Board to thank for this lengthy exegesis of the i.Titan’s strengths: “A carver’s dream machine, the Head Supershape i.Titan is a force to be reckoned with. One way to encapsulate the i.Titan’s personality is as “combi carver,” a ski with the stability at speed of a GS race ski and the quick reflexes of a slalom.
