The Sick Day 94 isn’t just the retired Sick Day 95 minus one millimeter in waist width, but a new lay-up with a softer flex and slightly tighter turn radius. The Sick Day collection is essentially an off-trail troupe, but the Sick Day 94 acquits itself quite nicely on groomers, spooling off medium radius arcs as if to the carving manner born. As intimated by its tapered tip profile and double-rockered baseline, the Sick Day 94 reserves its best moves for soft snow. It’s able to mix smearing and carving on a whim, a helpful duality to be able to draw on in irregular snow conditions.

In addition to being lighter and quicker than the old 95, the 2018 Sick Day 94 retails for $100 less. This despite the fact that the Sick Day 94 uses Magic Finger Carbon Filaments in its core, which is how it manages to lose so much weight without compromising strength, grip or agility.

In a world of dull technical descriptions, referring to carbon stringers as Magic Finger Carbon Filaments should earn Line an Honorable Mention for Marketing.
