The Supernatural 86 has multi-generational appeal. Because it responds peppily to slight pressure, the Supernatural 86 is equally appropriate for a strapping young lad looking for his first all-terrain ski might as well as his greying grandfather, who fears he might be shopping for his last. Whether it’s in a foot of new snow or rolling gently edge to edge on groomers, this Line never loses its mellow.
Skiers who ride along at relatively low edge angles will take comfort in the Supernatural 86’s dependable medium-radius turns; skiers who apply a bit more angulation will be rewarded with accurate arcing. “Like the old [Line] Prophet,” advises Elf from California Ski Company, “it’s fun, lively but not a real go-getter. Best for the intermediate to advanced skier,” he suggests.
