The story behind the Smoke Ti is as plain as the nose on Ben Franklin’s face; you’ll save a C-note or so compared to other skis in its class.  The Smoke Ti will most often go out the door at $599, and if that doesn’t sound like such a great deal, consider this: the discount price includes a perfectly matched Atomic binding.

The Smoke Ti wouldn’t be such a value story if it were only about the binding, as most Frontside skis are system models.  But the Smoke Ti is a rich little ski, with a wood core, Titanal laminate, stout Step Down Sidewall 2.0 and the ARC binding interface that improves ski flex under light loading.  Add all those factors together and you an outstanding value in an “easy-turning, stable and quiet ride,” as one of our Viking stalwarts stated.
