The Enforcer 100 remains one of the most powerful skis in the All-Mountain West category, a fall-line charging engine with a penchant for pulverizing crud. Of course it’s great in powder; what Recommended ski in this genre isn’t? Powder is never the problem. Battered, inconsistent crud, particularly when it’s as heavy as lava, is the problem. The Enforcer 100 tears through a corrugated crud field like it was an old cotton sheet.

When Nordica introduced the Enforcer the “100” suffix wasn’t necessary as it was the only one of its kind. The runaway success of what has become a benchmark ski in its genre inspired Nordica to concoct 3 spin-off Enforcers, all of which have been equally well received. You know you’re talking about a star product when it’s so popular it creates an entire family of skis in its image.

Why tamper with success? The Enforcer 100 remains one of the most powerful skis in the All-Mountain West category, a fall-line charging engine with a penchant for pulverizing crud. It’s no accident the Enforcer 100 is such a terror in cut-up powder: it was made expressly for this condition. The blunt, low-profile tip is slightly tapered so it won’t over-react in broken snow and its two layers of Titanium around a wood core keep it from being knocked around. The Enforcer 100’s amply rockered baseline is right at home in irregular terrain. On groomed runs the cambered zone underfoot holds with authority, and even the rockered forebody feels like it connects fairly early at the top of the turn.

If there’s a bias built into the Enforcer 100, it’s for athletic skiers with better than average skills. It will execute short turns if given explicit instructions to do so, but its bliss is running at high edge angles in third gear. Its special talent is maintaining its equipoise in old, beat-up snow, where the harder it’s pushed, the more responsive it becomes.
